Do you like working with your hands, are you precise, and are you looking for a job that is easy to combine with your personal life? At DEKRA in Veghel, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for our inspection lane.
Whether you already have experience with cars or are simply someone who pays close attention, works neatly, and enjoys staying active: you are very welcome. You do not need to be a car mechanic. With good explanations and clear work instructions, you will learn the job in practice.
As a Vehicle Control Employee, you check cars for damage and special features. You will work with a tablet where you can easily record your checks and findings. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that large numbers of vehicles are inspected carefully.
And perhaps most importantly: working hours are negotiable. Would you prefer to work primarily during school hours, a few fixed mornings, or just a few afternoons? We are happy to work with you to find a schedule that suits your needs.
What will you do precisely?
Inspect cars using a clear checklist: You follow a fixed route around the vehicle, checking the exterior, interior, and several simple technical points;
Have an eye for detail: You spot that small scratch, a missing part, or a light that shouldn't be on;
Work according to a clear procedure: You go through every car based on a fixed schedule. You take photos and check off your inspections on a tablet;
Stay active: You walk, look, inspect, and process your findings. No sitting at a desk all day;
Collaborate with colleagues: The cars arrive one after another, and together with your team, you make sure everything is checked neatly and thoroughly.
You do not need to be a technical expert. We find it much more important that you are curious, punctual, and work carefully.
Precise: You enjoy checking things thoroughly and rarely miss a detail;
Practical mindset: You like staying active and pick up new tasks quickly;
Reliable and independent: Once you know what is expected of you, you can get to work on your own;
Appreciate a steady rhythm: Clear procedures and structure give you guidance;
Driver's license B: You occasionally move a car within the inspection lane;
Sufficient Dutch language skills: So that you fully understand the instructions on your tablet and can consult with colleagues;
Available for a minimum of 16 hours per week: We are happy to think along with you about a schedule that fits your situation, such as around school hours (for your children) or your studies.
A great package of employment benefits and pleasant working hours;
Fully non-contributory pension accrual;
A variable profit-sharing scheme;
Plenty of relaxation thanks to 26 vacation days;
Working with the newest cars and electric models;
A fun team of car enthusiasts who, just like you, love to get things done;
Opportunities for growth.
