As a project manager at DEKRA, you will be the link between the customer and our technical teams. You ensure that our testing and certification projects - from complex product tests to strict regulatory processes - run smoothly and according to schedule. You work closely with our test engineers, understand their challenges, and translate these into clear communication towards the customer. You are the one who monitors technical progress and ensures that projects, even with unexpected technical complications, are successfully completed.
Analyzing customer inquiries: You analyze customer requests and carefully assess whether they are technically feasible and fit within the scope of our services.
Proactive communication: You actively keep customers informed about technical challenges and the progress of their projects, building trust through your deep understanding of the testing and certification process.
Project management: You coordinate the work of our test engineers and ensure that all necessary tests are conducted correctly and on time.
Risk management: When unforeseen technical issues arise, you communicate this clearly to the customer and propose realistic solutions. You maintain control, even under pressure.
Customer relations: You are responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities. Your technical knowledge helps you gain the trust of the customer.
Administrative tasks: You prepare offers based on technical test plans, monitor budgets, report on progress, and ensure accurate documentation.
Financial management: You are responsible for managing project budgets and regularly reporting on financial progress, ensuring that costs and resources are accurately tracked.
Strong technical insight, preferably in testing and certification processes;
Experience in project management within a technical environment, where you have proven the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously;
Excellent communication skills; you can clearly and confidently communicate technical challenges to both technical experts and non-technical customers;
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, as you will be working in an international environment;
Ability to perform under pressure and always maintain an overview, even when projects are complex and demanding.
