As a Test Engineer, your mission is to examine these cutting-edge innovations against the latest safety standards. You’ll be engaged in multiple customer projects simultaneously, not only within the state-of-art DEKRA lab but also at client locations.Your time will be divided between hands-on lab work, translating measured results into comprehensive reports for our clients. You will also collaborate with colleagues from various teams.
Independently conduct tests, spending about 20-40% of your time in our lab;
Performing safety assessments based on international standards or risk-based assessments and testing;
Reporting (preliminary) test results;
Keeping the project manager and the client informed about the status and progress.
You come to this role equipped with extensive knowledge and expertise, and additionally you:
have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
are experienced with measuring electrical equipment;
demonstrate strong language skills in English. Knowledge of the German language is considered a plus;
familiar with at least one of the following international standards: IEC 62368, IEC 60950, IEC 61010 and/or IEC 60601.
