Test Engineer | Projectmanager Industrial Components

At DEKRA, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a Test Engineer on challenging and diverse projects within the Industrial Components product group. Collaborating with clients from all over the world, you will oversee certification processes from start to finish. Each project brings new opportunities to apply your expertise and grow your skills. Additionally, you’ll have the freedom to shape this role your way and—when necessary—visit international laboratories! 

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting safety tests for industrial components, such as surge protection devices, miniature circuit breakers, switches, and potentially distribution boards and low-voltage panels;

• Preparing technical quotations and test plans, managing budgets, documenting results, and reporting progress;

• Interpreting and applying standards and regulations to ensure compliance with safety requirements;

• Analyzing test results and delivering accurate, reliable reports;

• Writing and reviewing test reports with clear conclusions and recommendations;

• Communicating proactively with clients: sharing technical insights and project updates while building strong relationships and mutual trust.

• Strong technical aptitude, preferably with experience in testing and certification;

• Experience in testing and managing projects in a technical environment, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;

• Clear and professional communication skills at all levels;

• Experience in an (electro)technical environment is a plus;

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;

• Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
